What this site is
0x74shelby.pages.dev is a personal portfolio: CTF writeups, blog posts on security history and incidents, a technical Learn knowledge base, and pentest report PDFs. Everything here is published for educational and informational purposes — to document methodology, share what I learned, and show my work.
Scope of the CTF writeups
The CTF writeups on this site cover machines I've solved on my own local lab, retired HackTheBox boxes (published only after HTB officially retires them — their rules prohibit public writeups of Active machines), VulnHub images, and custom-built targets. Every technique described was run against a system I own or a platform explicitly built for public practice. None of it is an endorsement or instruction to run the same techniques against a system you don't own or don't have written authorization to test. Do that at your own legal risk — it's on you, not me.
Credentials, hashes, and other sensitive values that appear in a writeup are redacted ([REDACTED]) rather than published in full, even where the target is a retired or fictional lab machine.
Content ownership & reuse
Text, writeups, and report PDFs on this site are my own work and remain mine. You're welcome to link to any page here, or quote a short passage with attribution back to the source page. Republishing a writeup or report in full without permission isn't okay — email me first if that's what you have in mind.
No warranty
Content is provided as-is. Command syntax, CVE references, and tool output are accurate to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing, but security tooling and target environments change — verify before you rely on anything here for real engagement work.
